Privacy Policy — Daily Reign

Daily Reign is a daily puzzle game published by Fatema Dholkawala ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and how you can have it deleted.

Information we collect

An anonymous player ID. When you first open the app, we create an anonymous account for your device (via Firebase Authentication). This is a random identifier — it is not linked to your name, email address, or phone number, because we never ask for those.
A handle you choose. If you pick a public player handle (e.g. for leaderboards), that handle and your gameplay stats — current streak, longest streak, and practice best times — are stored against your anonymous player ID so your progress can sync across app sessions and be shown on leaderboards.
Gameplay history. Your solved puzzles, move counts, and streak data, stored locally on your device and (where a handle is set) synced to our database so your streak survives a reinstall or device change.
Photos — only when you choose to save one. If you tap "Save" on a share card, the app writes that one generated image to your device's photo library. The app does not read, browse, or upload any other photo on your device.
Advertising identifiers. The app shows ads served by Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising identifier and usage data to select and measure ads. In regions that require it (such as the EEA, UK and Switzerland), the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before any ad is requested, and you can change your choice at any time from Profile → "Privacy & ad choices". Ads can be turned off entirely with the one-time "Go ad-free" purchase.
Purchases. In-app purchases are processed by Google Play (or the App Store on iOS). We never see your payment details — we only store which items your account owns, so they can be restored on a reinstall or new device.
Notifications. The optional daily reminder is scheduled on your device. No notification data is sent to us.

How we use this information

To save your daily streak and progress across sessions and devices.
To show leaderboards and public handles to other players.
To let you move your progress to a new device (device migration).
To display and measure ads (unless you've bought ad-free).
To restore items you've purchased.

Who we share it with

We use Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore) to store the data above — Google acts as our infrastructure provider and does not use this data for its own purposes. Google AdMob receives advertising identifiers directly as part of serving ads, under Google's privacy policy. We do not sell your data.

How to delete your data

Because your account is anonymous (no email or password), we can't verify a deletion request by login — instead, email us your in-app handle or Reign ID (shown on your Profile screen) and we'll delete it.

Email fatema.bhadka@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Daily Reign data" and your handle or Reign ID. We will delete your player record, handle, and gameplay history from our database within 30 days. Uninstalling the app removes everything stored locally on your device immediately.

Children's privacy

Daily Reign is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
