Privacy Policy — Hatch Blast
Last updated: November 4, 2026
Hatch Blast is a block puzzle game published by Fatema Dholkawala ("we", "us").
This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and how to remove it.
There are no accounts: we never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
Information the app uses
-
Your game progress, stored on your device only. Your Adventure
levels and stars, Endless best scores, critters and Critterdex, Sparkle, owned and
equipped items and settings are saved on your phone, together with a random player
ID that the game creates for itself. They are not sent to us, and they are removed
when you uninstall the app.
-
Advertising identifiers. The app shows ads served by Google
AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising identifier, your approximate
location (derived from your IP address) and usage and diagnostic data to select
and measure ads. In regions that require it (such as the EEA, UK and Switzerland)
the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before any ad is
requested, and you can change your choice later in the game's settings under
"Privacy & ad choices". Ads never interrupt a level or a run.
-
Push notification token. If you allow notifications, the app
registers with Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, which gives your device a
random token so we can send occasional messages about the game (for example,
new levels). The token is not linked to your identity.
-
Crash reports. If the app crashes or hits an error, Google Firebase
Crashlytics sends us a report: what went wrong in the code, your device model and
operating system version, the app version, and a random installation identifier. It
contains no personal details and helps us fix bugs.
-
Purchases. In-app purchases are processed by Google Play
(or the App Store on iOS). We never see your payment details. The store tells
the app which items you own so they can be restored.
-
Sharing. If you tap "Share", the app draws a share card image and
opens your phone's share sheet. Nothing is shared unless you choose where to send it,
and the app does not read your photos.
How this information is used
- To save your progress on your device.
- To display and measure ads (unless you've bought No Ads).
- To send game notifications you have allowed.
- To find and fix crashes and bugs.
- To deliver and restore items you've purchased.
Who receives it
Google AdMob receives advertising identifiers and related data directly as part
of serving ads, under
Google's privacy policy.
Google Firebase Cloud Messaging handles the push token to deliver notifications, and
Firebase Crashlytics processes crash reports on our behalf.
Google Play (or Apple) processes purchases. We do not sell your data, and we run
no servers of our own that store information about you.
Playing in a web browser
Hatch Blast can also be played in a web browser, on game websites. The browser version is simpler than the app:
-
Your game progress is saved in your browser's storage on your device.
On a game website that has its own save feature, progress is saved with that website
instead (for example, to your account there). It is not sent to us.
-
Ads are shown by the game website you are playing on, using its own ad
partners, under that website's privacy policy and consent choices.
-
No accounts, real-money purchases, notifications or crash reports. The
browser version does not use the app's Firebase or AdMob services. Items are bought with
in-game Sparkle only.
-
Sharing. The share card is drawn in your browser and is only shared if you
choose to, using your browser's or the game website's own share feature.
To delete browser progress, clear this website's data in your browser settings (or, on a
game website with accounts, use that website's own settings).
How to delete your data
Everything the app stores is on your device: uninstalling Hatch Blast deletes
your progress and stops notifications. To reset your advertising identifier,
use your phone's settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads). Questions?

Hatch Blast is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect personal information from children under 13.
