Privacy Policy — Snap Stitch
Last updated: November 3, 2026 (web browser version)
Snap Stitch is an arcade game published by Fatema Dholkawala ("we", "us").
This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and how to remove it.
There are no accounts: we never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
Information the app uses
-
Your game progress, stored on your device only. Your spools,
best score, medals, owned and equipped items and settings are saved on your
phone. They are not sent to us, and they are removed when you uninstall the app.
-
Advertising identifiers. The app shows ads served by Google
AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising identifier, your approximate
location (derived from your IP address) and usage and diagnostic data to select
and measure ads. In regions that require it (such as the EEA, UK and Switzerland)
the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before any ad is
requested, and you can change your choice later from the Sewing Box
→ Spools → "Privacy & ad choices". The "Remove ads" purchase turns
off banners and between-run ads; optional rewarded ads stay available.
-
Push notification token. If you allow notifications, the app
registers with Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, which gives your device a
random token so we can send occasional messages about the game (for example,
new items). The token is not linked to your identity.
-
Crash reports. If the app crashes or hits an error, Google Firebase
Crashlytics sends us a report: what went wrong in the code, your device model and
operating system version, the app version, and a random installation identifier. It
contains no personal details and helps us fix bugs.
-
Reminders scheduled on your device. Reminders such as
"free spools are ready" are scheduled by the app on your phone. No reminder
data is sent to us. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone's
settings.
-
Purchases. In-app purchases are processed by Google Play
(or the App Store on iOS). We never see your payment details. The store tells
the app which items you own so they can be restored.
-
Photos, only when you choose to save one. If you tap "Save"
on a share card, the app writes that one image to your photo library. It does
not read, browse or upload any other photo. Sharing a card uses your phone's
share sheet; the app sends nothing itself.
How this information is used
- To save your progress on your device.
- To display and measure ads (unless you've bought Remove ads).
- To send game notifications you have allowed.
- To find and fix crashes and bugs.
- To deliver and restore items you've purchased.
Who receives it
Google AdMob receives advertising identifiers and related data directly as part
of serving ads, under
Google's privacy policy.
Google Firebase Cloud Messaging handles the push token to deliver notifications, and
Firebase Crashlytics processes crash reports on our behalf.
Google Play (or Apple) processes purchases. We do not sell your data, and we run
no servers of our own that store information about you.
Playing in a web browser
Snap Stitch can also be played in a web browser, on game websites (such as CrazyGames,
YouTube Playables or Playgama) and on our own site. The browser version is simpler than the app:
-
Your game progress (spools, best score, medals, items and settings) is
saved in your browser's storage on your device. On a game website that has its own
save feature, progress is saved with that website instead (for example, to your account
there, so it follows you between devices). It is not sent to us.
-
Ads are shown by the game website you are playing on, using its own ad
partners, under that website's privacy policy and consent choices. On our own site the
browser version shows no ads.
-
No accounts, purchases, notifications or crash reports. The browser
version has no in-game purchases, sends no notifications and no crash reports, and does
not use the app's Firebase or AdMob services.
-
Sharing. The share card is drawn in your browser. It is only shared or
downloaded if you choose to, using your browser's own share or download feature.
To delete browser progress, clear this website's data in your browser settings (or, on a
game website with accounts, use that website's own settings).
How to delete your data
Everything the app stores is on your device: uninstalling Snap Stitch deletes
your progress and stops notifications. To reset your advertising identifier,
use your phone's settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads). Questions?

collect personal information from children under 13.
